Workforce Development is the 5th component of the BIO-SENS research project. Part of the ongoing attention to workforce development includes hosting virtual Professional Development Seminars over the summer months. The seminars are free and designed for BIO-SENS team members and STEM students at American colleges and universities. Below please find seminars from the summers of 2024 and 2023. This seminar series is central to the project's goal of building a strong inclusive community. The intent is for students attending these seminars to gain skills and tools helpful to them as they in navigate future opportunities. These opportunities might include remaining in academia or finding employment in industry, including exploring entrepreneurial endeavors.
