3rd Annual BIO-SENS Industry-Academic Biotechnology Symposium

This year's BIO-SENS Industry-Academic Biotechnology Symposium was held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY. Dr. Caleb Hill, BIO-SENS Co-PI leading Project 3: Nanostructured Surface, served as this year's symposium host. The symposium featured student presentations, academic and industry keynote speakers, panel discussions, and networking time to begin building connections and collaboration across industry and academia. 3rd Annual Symposium Agenda

BIO-SENS or BIO-Inspired On-demand Strategies for Engineering Nanostructured Sensors is a National Science Foundation funded project that is developing biosensors to continuously monitor biomolecules in biomanufacturing processes.
 

Keynote Speaker Bio

The 2nd Annual Industry and Academic Biotechnology Symposium was held on July 26, 2023 at the University of New England in Biddeford, ME. Over 100 participants, including faculty and students from academic institutions in Maine, New Hampshire, Wyoming, and Alabama participated, as did industry professionals interested in learning more about the BIO-SENS research. Dr. Eva Rose Balog, BIO-SENS Co-PI leading Project 2: Analyte Responsive Polymer was the symposium host. Symposium agenda.   

The 1st Annual BIO-SENS Industry-Academic Biotechnology Symposium was held in Auburn, Alabama at Auburn University. BIO-SENS Co-PI Dr. Bob Pantazes who leads Project 1: Recognition Element hosted this kick off event.
